In Chrome (or Brave / Edge), navigate to the extensions manager.
chrome://extensions Toggle on "Developer mode" in the top-right corner of the Extensions page. A new toolbar will appear below.
Click "Load unpacked", then select the folder you extracted from the zip file.
Extract the zip first, then select the extracted folder — not the zip itself. Click the Polaris ★ icon in your Chrome toolbar. Sign in with your Polaris account (email or Google) to connect.
